MG FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam (Heavy Type) build retrospective

This was built in conjunction with the other Full Armor Gundam that I finished last year. I always liked the HG Heavy Gundam design but the MG version was a tad too outdated for my taste. Out of luck I managed to actually come across both a MG Full Armor as well as the P-Bandai Heavy just for the Frame Launcher. I went with the HG Heavy Gundam colour scheme (similar to the Gundam FSD), the orange pinstripes were painted first and then masked off with 1mm tape.

The Frame Launcher itself is not compatible with the MG Gundam 2.0’s arm, so I ended up borrowing right arm from the Heavy Gundam. The pegs kinda fit into the shoulder of the 2.0 but is a tad too short to plug in all the way into the shoulder polycap, so the top of the bicep armor had to be trimmed down slightly for some extra clearance.
